The partnership was formed in August 2010, enabling Rockit to provide IT services to eligible primary care providers and healthcare organizations in the Greater Capital region, Northern New York, and Long Island.
On the brink of new and vital healthcare technology advances, Rockit Science is currently collaborating with NYeC in order to facilitate the implementation and management of electronic health record, health information exchange, and quality data warehouse programs.
With Rockit's support, NYeC REC, which is responsible for recruiting 5,100 Priority Primary Care physicians and providing each of them with assistance to achieve meaningful use of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), will be able to focus its efforts on the recruitment and adoption processes, and leaving the IT support and safety to the Rockit Science expertise.
